Notes:

In the beginning of November, 1791, the 38-gun frigate Minerva, Commodore Cornwallis, was accompanied by the 36-gun frigate Phoenix, Captain Sir Richard John Strachan, and Perseverance, Captain Isaac Smith, in the road at Tellicherry, a fort and anchorage situated a few leagues to the southward of Mangalore. Action between the French frigate R�solue and the Phoenix.

1 Jan 1799 at Portsmouth, to repair.

27 Oct 1800 Portsmouth a Court-Martial was held on board the Gladiator for the trial of William M'Milladge, a seaman belonging to the Trent, who was tried for having, with two others, not yet taken, run away with the King's boat from alongside the Perseverance hulk. The charge not being proved against the prisoner, he was acquitted.
