4 Mar 1800 the Revolutionaire captured the French privateer Le Coureur, which the Naval Chronicle, Vol 3, p. 399 reports as having last month "captured his Majesty's ship Princess Royal, for Tortola," but whose Captain, and greater part of the crew, are retaken in the privateer. [However I can find no details of this "Princess Royal," hired or otherwise, and wonder if, like the vessel above, it may have been a packet, but I've included it for the record, in case it fills a hole in a jigsaw elsewhere ?]
