1 Jan 1799 Capt. T. Dundas. At Jamaica.

12 Feb-30 Mar 1799 captured the armed Spanish ship Urea Caraodora, 1,300 tons burthen, commanded by a lieutenant (pierced for 26 guns), mounted 12 six-pounders, with timber for the Navy Yard at Havannah, burnt near the Matanzas.

29 Jan 1801 Sans Pareil was at Port Royal, Jamaica, with the Carnatic, Quebec, Le Prompte, Amphion, and Le Vengeance, French frigate, which had been captured by HM frigate La Seine, along with the prison ships America and Admiral de Vries when the packet Princess Amelia arrived from Martinique.

12 May 1801 arrived Spithead with a convoy from Jamaica, a part of which she saw safe up Bristol Channel, the remainder went past for the Downs, under convoy of the Surprise frigate, Captain Laroche.

21 May 1801 a Court-Martial was held on board the Gladiator, on Captain R. Philpot, of the Prompte, for suffering William Oates, a man supposed to belong to the Hermione, to escape from his ship. The Court agreed that the charge had been proved, and adjudged him to be reprimanded.

Circa Oct 1801 Mr. Wiikins, formerly Purser of La Prompte, to the Mohdovi sloop of war.
