7 Aug 1837 steam vessel / wooden paddle packet Belfast purchased into the service for �11,000, and included in a return to Parliament dated 5 Mar 1847, detailing all the vessels purchased into the Service by the Admiralty since 1830 - Accounts and Papers for the House of Commons Vol. 37.

2 Nov 1839 Lieutenant W. Read, appointed to the Prospero steam-packet, running between Milford and Waterford ;

31 Jul 1840, Woolwich, Mr. Benjamin Hoare, from the William and Mary, has been appointed first engineer of the Prospero, vice Arthur dismissed from the service.

3 Oct 1840 Portsmouth, called in to-day for coals, on her way to Chatham and Sheerness with shipwrights.

8 Oct 1840 Plymouth, arrived from Milford on Friday. and proceeded the next day for Chatham with some shipwrights for that dockyard.

10 Oct 1840 called in at Portsmouth for fuel an Wednesday, on her way to Woolwich from Pembroke.

18 Oct 1841 arrived Plymouth, from Pembroke, with seamen.

28 Oct 1841 Plymouth. departed with refused men for Pembroke.

2 Nov 1841 Plymouth, The Cambrian was towed into the Sound by the Prospero.

4 Nov 1841 arrived at Plymouth with volunteers for the navy and has since departed for Liverpool.

11 Nov 1841 Plymouth, arrived in the Sound from Liverpool, with volunteers, and has since come into the harbour.

27 Nov 1841 arrived Plymouth with volunteers from Bristol and Pembroke.

1 Dec 1841 towed the Isis into Plymouth harbour, to be docked, having sprung a leak etc.

5 Dec 1841 Plymouth, departed for Pembroke.

1 Aug 1842 Steam Packet at Pembroke.

20 Dec 1848 Steam packet at Holyhead.
