10 Jan 1825 departed Falmouth on a cruise.

16 May 1825 departed Falmouth for Jamaica.

14 May 1825 arrived Falmouth from Portsmouth, en route for Jamaica.

Circa Aug 1825 at Jamaica and reported to be healthy.

Circa 16 Aug 1826 chased the Spanish slave vessel Minerva into Havannah harbour, which in later months was the cause of some diplomatic activity, available in Google books, in the light failure by the Cuban (Spanish) authorities to deal with the matter in accordance with the Treaty on the subject of the Slave Trade between the two countries - plus c'est la m�me chose - in fact, from witness' statements it would appear that the Spanish authorities connived during the subsequent cover-up when slaves were smuggled off the Minerva and would appear to have had a vested interest in the cargo.

20 Aug 1826 detained outside the harbour of Havannah the Spanish steam slave vessel Mexicana, Joze Maria Lopez, Master, with 20 slaves on board when detained, which was sent for adjudication to the British and Spanish Mixed Court of Justice, Havannah and was sentenced to be condemned on 30 Aug 1826.

13 Apr 1831 ran on the rocks at Roona Point, about five miles beyond Old Head, about nine o'clock on the morning and, by the last accounts, was high and dry upon the reef, lying upon her side, Commander P. D. H. Hay, in command.

5 May 1831 arrived Plymouth from Cork.

7 Jul 1833 arrived Rio de Janeiro from the River Plate and due to sail shortly for Cape Horn.

15 Oct 1833 had departed Valparaiso for Intermedios.

27 Feb 1834 the Admiralty (John Barrow) requests the Foreign Office (Viscount Palmerston), to order Warrants from the French, under the recent Conventions for the Slave Trade, for the Brazil Station for the commanding officers of the Snake, Satellite, and Rapid, at the same time cancelling and returning those that had previously been issued for the Rattlesnake, Samarang, and Pylades.

5 Jun 1834 arrived Portsmouth with specie, from Havannah, with the brig Clementi, taken near the line.

9 Oct 1834 is fitting at Plymouth for commission.

30 Oct 1834 to be docked shortly.

15 Aug 1835 is being fitted out at Plymouth for service on the coast of Africa, and is expected to sail in September.

19 Sep 1835 it is reported that she will sail on the 27th from Plymouth for the Cape of Good Hope.

30 Sep 1835 came down the harbour on Monday, and remains in the Plymouth Sound for the Coast and Cape of Good Hope. She is lying in the Sound with her top gallant-mast lowered, the weather being stormy.

25 Dec 1835 detained in lat. 8� 22' 0" N. long. 14� 37' 0" W., in the latitude of Sierra Leone, the Spanish slave brig Tersicore, Juan Maynoldi, master, which was sent for adjudication to the British and Spanish Mixed Court of Justice, Sierra Leone, and on 27 Jan 1836 sentenced to be Restored to her Master.

Per a report made to Parliament in 1842, at some time during 1836 the Sloop Pylades, 18 guns, Complement: 120, was involved in combatting the Slave Trade.

14 Jan 1836 detained in lat. 5� 24' N., long. 12� 52' W., en route from River New Sestos to Matanzas, in the Island of Cuba, the Spanish slave schooner Gaceta, Joaquin de Andrician, master, with 225 slaves on board, which was sent for adjudication to the British and Spanish Mixed Court of Justice, Sierra Leone, and on 5 Jul 1836 sentenced to be condemned.

17 Sep 1836 detained in lat. 4� 17' N. long. 7� 33' E., the Portuguese slave brigantine Esperanca, late Isabelita, Alexandre Antonio Silva, master, with 477 slaves on board, which was sent for adjudication to the British and Portuguese Court of Mixed Commission, Sierra Leone, and on 22 Oct 1836 sentenced to be condemned.

Per a report made to Parliament in 1842, at some time during 1837 was involved in combatting the Slave Trade and experienced 1 Death by Accident, Total No of Deaths: 2.

27 Apr 1837 is reported at London to have arrived at Simon's Bay, Cape of Good Hope from Portsmouth and the Coast of Africa.

27 May 1837 arrived Mauritius from the Cape of Good Hope.

Per a report made to Parliament in 1842, at some time during 1838 was involved in combatting the Slave Trade and experienced 1 Death.

3 Jun 1838 detained in lat. 19� 50' N. long. 75�47' W., the Portuguese slave schooner Prova, Francisco Joze Dias, master, three miles off Old Calabar, with 225 slaves on board, which was sent to Sierra Leone for adjudication by the British and Portuguese Mixed Court who dealt with the matter on 2 Jul 1838, where she was condemned for being engaged in the illicit traffic in slaves and the surviving 194 negroes emancipated, 31 having died before adjudication, the vessel and stores being sold by public auction, and the proceeds paid into the military chest. It may be of interest to note that that the US government were advised by the UK Foreign Office that "it appears from the papers of the 'Prova,' that she had been suffered to clear out on the voyage on which she was captured from the American Port of Charleston, where she had been lying many months, and whence she had departed with her Slave Trade equipment on board."
