Circa May 1800 Lieutenant Short, late Commander of the Contest gun-boat, lost off the coast of Holland, is appointed to the Ready gun-vessel.
16 Mar 1801 arrived N. Yarmouth the frigate Alcmene, with the sloop Favourite, La Jalouse, brig, and Trimmer, Fire Vessel ; and Meteor, Wrangler, Ready, Safeguard, and Pincher gun brigs.
21 Apr 1801 departed N. Yarmouth this morning a squadron for the Baltic under the command of Adm. Totty in the Zealous, with the Powerful, Vengeance, 74s ; Ruby, 64 ; Alkmaar, Hospital Ship ; Pomone, frigate ; Vesuve, Wrangler, Ready, Safeguard, Pincher, Eclipse, Boxer, Plumper, Griper, Adder and Cracker gun vessels ; Drake, cutter ; Prince William, hired armed ship.
19 Jul 1801 would appear to have arrived N. Yarmouth with the Baltic fleet under the command of Adm Graves, but wasn't included in the listing ; she was, however, included in the list of vessels that departed on the 20th.
20 Jul 1801 The fleet under the command of R.-Adm. Sir Thomas Graves, which arrived yesterday evening from the Baltic, departed N. Yarmouth today, supposed for a cruise off Holland : for the revised make up of the fleet click on Polyphemus.
7 Aug 1801 arrived N. Yarmouth from Elsineur with a convoy.
9 Aug 1801 departed N. Yarmouth for the Downs with her convoy.
9 Aug 1801 arrived in the Downs with the remains of her convoy.
10 Aug 1801 departed the Downs for Sheerness.
14 Oct 1801 departed N. Yarmouth on a cruise.
10 Nov 1801 arrived Sheerness with prisoners from Yarmouth, and has departed for Gillingham Reach to disembark them on board the prison ships lying there.
1 Dec 1802 notice is given that the Ready Gun-Vessel, lying at Sheerness, has been put up for sale.
