24 Feb 1800 Portsmouth, departed the Rose cutter, Lt. W. R. Faulkner, for the coast of France.
1 Mar 1800 Portsmouth, arrived the Rose cutter, Lt. W. H. Faulknor, with dispatches from the coast of France.
31 May 1800 Rose (2d), (Lt. Henry. Richardson), and Dolphin, captured the French privateer Risque à Tout, mounting 2 x 4-pounders, and 16 men, Jacques Neel, Captain, out ten hours from Cherbourg, off Cape Barfleur.
22 Nov 1800 Portsmouth, arrived the Rose cutter, Lt Richardson, from Marcou, which fell in, yesterday, with a French privateer, of 10 guns, off Dungeness, which she engaged for two hours. The privateer afterwards made off and the Rose, from her shattered condition, was unable to pursue her.
5 Jan 1801 the Rose cutter, Lt Richardson, arrived Spithead from Marcou with the cutter Champion.
4 Feb 1801 arrived Spithead, the Rose cutter, with dispatches from Marcou.
13 Mar 1801 arrived Spithead, Lt Richardson, from Marcou.
10 Sep 1801 arrived Spithead, from Marcou.
12 Oct 1801 arrived Spithead, from Marcou.
