28 Jul 1809 a part of a large fleet which departed from the Downs, with troops, with the aim of demolishing the dock-yards, and arsenals at Antwerp, Terneuse, and Flushing, often known as the ill-fated Walcheren Expedition.

Brixham Quay 1 Oct 1811 Remains : will sail for Lisbon on the first fair wind.

Torbay 2 Oct 1811 Remains wind-bound.

Plymouth 14 Nov 1811 Came down from the harbour, and anchored in the Sound, after having been refitted.

Plymouth 19 Nov 1811 departed with a convoy of transports.

30 Dec 1811, in company with the Vesta detained the Princess de Beira, and something for June 1812 ; a portion of the prize money resulting from these events has now become due for payment on 1 May 1835 : namely a dividend from the estate of the bankrupt agent Henry Abbott : no doubt one of the many fraudsters who ripped off matelots in those days : both officers and ratings being fair game.

Falmouth 4 Jul 1812 departed for Plymouth.

Portsmouth 16 Jun 1813 Has arrived with a convoy of light transports, from Lisbon.

Plymouth 30 Jul 1813 arrived from the coast of Spain with dispatches.

Plymouth 1 Aug 1813 departed last evening with a convoy for the Eastward.

Portsmouth 3 Aug 1813 arrived with convoy from Plymouth.

Portsmouth 5 Aug 1813 Gives instructions for the next convoy for Spain, Portugal, and the Mediterranean.

Portsmouth 13 Aug 1813 Has made signals for the convoy for Spain, Portugal and the Mediterranean to weigh.

Portsmouth 16 Aug 1813 Detained at St. Helen's with the Lisbon and Mediterranean convoys by adverse winds.

Portsmouth 18 Aug 1813 Remains at St. Helen's waiting a fair wind.

Tagus 1 Oct 1814 Remains.

Portsmouth 19 Nov 1815 Has previously arrived from Malta (11 Oct) and put in quarantine. Is now released from quarantine at the Motherbank, and come up to Spithead.

Portsmouth 29 Nov 1815 departed for the eastward.

3 Sep 1917 arrived Hampton Roads.

29 Nov 1917 arrived off Gravesend.

13 Dec 1917 left the Surrey Commercial Docks for Devonport.

15 Dec 1917 in collision with an unknown steamer off Portland in a fog during the night. Torpedoed off Salcombe. Tug previously sent to her assistance, and two destroyers, an airship, and seaplane to protect her : brought into the Sound - see p. 111 www.naval-review.org/issues/1917.pdf.

31 Dec 1917 paid off.
