19 Jun 1799 with the advanced division of the Mediterranean fleet, captured the French vessels Junon, Alceste, Courageuse, Salamine and Alerte, which were purchased into the Service, Junon being renamed Princess Charlotte.

20 Aug 1800 taken on the Mediterranean station a French Privateer of Four Guns, Six Swivels, and fifty-six Men.

26 Dec 1800 the French brig Good Friends, from Leghorn bound to Marseilles, laden with twenty-eight long brass guns, 5 brass mortars, shot and shells ; taken by the Caroline and Salamine on the Mediterranean Station.

21 Jan 1801 a French Xebec privateer, of 4 six-pounders, and 24 men, from Leghorn, bound to Egypt, laden with small arms and ammunition, taken by the Caroline and Salamine on the Mediterranean Station.

25 Feb 1801 joined Sir John Borlase Warren's squadron from Port Mahon with news of the French squadron's movements.

8 Mar to 2 Sep 1801 Services off the coast of Egypt.

Circa 26 Dec 1801 Captain Briggs, of the Salamine, to the Madras, vice Hare, deceased.

Circa 24 Jan 1802 Captain Alexander Campbell, the Salamine, to the Greyhound frigate.
