Jun 1890 is to be attached to the Vernon as a tender, whilst trials are carried out on the new 18-inch Whitehead torpedo, with which she is armed.

5 March 1914 Recommissioned at Portsmouth.

Aug 1914 North Sea Fisheries. Tender to Halcyon.

Aug 1914 Under the orders of the Admiral Commanding Coast Guard and Reserves.
