1 Jul 1864 detained off River Congo a slave barque, Name Unknown, which was sent for adjudication to the Vice-Admiralty Court at St. Helena and sentenced to be condemned.

10 Nov 1866 at Ambrizette where Cdr. H. A. Trollope received reports of a disturbance in October when the natives robbed the factory of a Mr. Stewart, and then threatened him as he stopped trading with the natives until the thieves were dealt with, which resulted in the Commander having words with the Chief, who promised to protect traders and to deal with thieves in the future.
