Aug 1793 Squirrel and Liberty captured the French privateer Patriote.

between Jun 1798 and 10 Feb 1799 the Renomm�e and the Squirrel captured the Spanish privateer Neptune, brig, guns, 23 men, on the Jamaica station.

Jun 1798 and 10 Feb 1799 the Trent and the Squirrel captured the Spanish privateer Penada, armed ship, 14g 40 men on the Jamaica station.

30 Oct 1798 departed Port Royal, Jamaica, on a cruize with the Renomme and Pelican.

1 Jan 1799 Capt. J. Hamstead. On the Jamaica station.

12 Feb-30 Mar 1799 captured 6 merchant vessels, 1 of which was destroyed whilst on the Jamaica station during this period.

1 Oct 1799 Portsmouth, arrived from the West Indies, with dispatches from the Commander in Chief.

27 Jan 1801 arrived N. Yarmouth the Squirrel, Ariadne, Speedwell brig, Biter gun boat, and the Cobourgh cutter.

29 Jan 1801 departed Yarmouth.

2 Feb 1801 remains in the Roads at N. Yarmouth.

10 Mar 1801 the North Sea Fleet has come together at N. Yarmouth, and consists of the London, and St George, 98 guns, Adm. Sir Hyde Parker having transferred his flag from the Ardent to the St George ; Monarch, Bellona, Saturn, Ramilies, Ganges, Warrior, Russell and Defence, 74 ; Veteran, Ardent, Polyphemus, Raisonable, Agamemnon, 64 ; Glatton, 54 ; Isis, 50 ; Desiree, Blanche, and Amazon frigates ; Pylades, Hyaena, Dart, and Arrow, sloops ; Harpy ; Biter, Blazer, Bruiser, Tigress, Pelter, Teazer, Hasty, Force, Sparkler Brigs ; Terror, Volcano, Explosion, Hecla, Zebra, Albion, Sulphur, and Discovery bombs ; Eling, schooner ; cutters Fox and Hazard ; and luggers Rover and Lark.

Circa 12 Mar 1801 fleet under Admiral Sir Hyde Parker and Lord Nelson, consisting of 17 ships of the line, 3 frigates, 10 gun-brigs, nearly as many bomb-ketches, with smaller vessels usually attendant on a fleet, making in the whole nearly 50 sail, got under weigh from Yarmouth Roads at the break of day, and by eight o'clock had cleared the Sands ; they directed their course to the northward, wafted by a fine breeze at S.W. as departed from Yarmouth roads for Copenhagen (Naval Chronicle). On arrival at Copenhagen supported the ships-of-the-line as required.

10 May 1801 departed the Princess of Orange, with a squadron from Adm. Dickson's North Sea Fleet including the Monmouth, Vanguard, Madras, Texel, Ariadne, Assistance, Agincourt, Phoenix, and Speculator luggers, Ranger, and Squirrel, and the Narcissus brig, to cruise off Goree.

16 May 1801 arrived N. Yarmouth Adm. Dickson's squadron, from a cruise off Goree, consisting of the Princess of Orange, Leyden, Agincourt, Texel, Madras, Assistance ; Squirrel, frigate ; Hart, brig ; Speculator, lugger ; Bittern, sloop ; and Griffin, cutter.

21 May 1801 at N. Yarmouth this day three men were hung on board the Squirrel and 3 others were flogged, for mutiny.

24 May 1801 Adm Dickson in the Blenheim departed N. Yarmouth for a cruise off Goree with the Standard, 64, Brunswick, 74, Princess of Orange, 74, Assistance, 50, Texel 64 ; Squirrel, frigate ; Hart, brig ; and a cutter.

17 Jun 1801 off Scarborough, protecting that part of the coast, it having experienced a number of attacks recently by French privateers, on the coal ships etc., heading south to London and the south coast.

19 Jun 1801 was replaced by the hired armed ship Prince William in her search for French privateers, having been allocated to cruise for the Greenland and Davis Straits ships.

26 Jun 1801 it is announced at Harwich that the ship Potzdam, condemned as a prize to the Squirrel, will be sold at Yarmouth next month.

19 Jul 1801 arrived N. Yarmouth, the Squirrel, sloop, having left her convoy of Greenland ships at Hull.

29 Jul 1801 departed N. Yarmouth for a cruise.

11 Aug 1801 the De Vryheid, D. Graaf, from Amsterdam to Norway, in ballast, sent in by the Squirrel.

11 Sep 1801 arrived N. Yarmouth the De Snell Jager, H.H. Prims master, and the Denagesinde, both from Amsterdam to Norway and in ballast, detained by the Squirrel.

15 Sep 1801 departed N. Yarmouth on a cruise.

27 Sep 1801 departed N. Yarmouth, the Vesuve and Squirrel, on a cruise.

18 Oct 1801 wind WSW, strong gales and cloudy. Arrived N. Yarmouth yesterday from a cruise, and, at about half past eight in the evening she parted with her anchors and drove until she was near the Scroby Sand. The Flag Ship, Blenheim, fired her guns and made a signal for ships' boats in the Roads to go to her assistance, and it is understood that she is now out of danger.

4 Nov 1801 arrived Sheerness from N. Yarmouth.

12 Nov 1801 remains Sheerness, with 6 sloops and 14 gun-brigs, at the Nore.

27 Nov 1801 is reported to have come into Sheerness harbour to be paid off.

21 May 1802 prize money, for the capture of the Adventure, will be paid at Salter's Hall Court, Canon St., London.

Circa 20 May 1803 Capt Braun is apptd in command of the Squirrel which is to be commissioned shortly.

19 Aug 1803 the Squirrel arrived N Yarmouth last night.

9 Sep 1803 arrived N Yarmouth yesterday with a dogger and departed today on a cruise.

29 Sep 1803 departed the Downs for the Eastward.

12 Oct 1803 remain in the Downs the Monarch, Right Hon Adm Lord Keith ; Utrecht, R.-Adm Montague, Capt Rogers ; Diana, Capt Maling ; Ranger, sloop, Capt Coats ; Squirrel ; Autumn, Capt Jackson ; Vesuvius, Capt O'Brien, bomb ; Sulphur, Capt M'Leod ; Archer, Conflict, Monkey, and Sterling, gun brigs ; the latter from a cruise.

18 Nov 1803 remains in the Downs the Monarch, Utrecht, Raisonable, Magicienne, Squirrel, Amaranthe, Champion, Vulture, Hound, Merlin sloops ; Perseus, and Fury, bombs ; Seaflower, brig ; Starling, gun brig ; Findon, hired sloop, and the transports Plymouth, Supply, and Sussex Oak.

21 Nov 1803 departed the Downs, the Squirrel, Capt Brown, on a cruise, but due to a change in the wind had to put back.

24 Nov 1803 arrived in the Downs the Basilisk, and Mariner, from a cruise, and sailed again with HM ships Aimable and Squirrel frigates, and Autumn sloop, with many other ships on their several stations off the coast of France.

25 Nov 1803 arrived in the Downs from a cruise off Dunkirk with the schooner Milbrook.

1 Dec 1803 arrived in the Downs from a cruise the Squirrel, Capt Brown.

4 Dec 1803 departed the Downs on a cruise.

5 Dec 1803 the wind ENE, squally with snow, the Squirrel has put back to the Downs.

15 Dec 1803 remains in the Downs.

12 May 1804 arrived Spithead the Squirrel, Capt Braun, from the Downs. She is ordered to be fitted out for a foreign station.

16 Jun 1804 dropt down to St Helen's, the Squirrel, Capt Brown.

23 Jun 1804 arrived back at Spithead, from St Helen's.

1 Jul 1804 the Squirrel, Capt Brawn, and the Lark, Capt Langford, depart Spithead, for the Coast of Africa with a convoy.
