9 Sep 1806 Constance, Strenuous, and Sharpshooter chase the French store-ship Salamandre on shore, but she was subsequently got off by the French and repaired.
The following casualties were suffered by the Strenuous:
None killed.
Robert Bond, Midshipman, slightly wounded.
John Buttersley, Marine, severely wounded.
Henry Howard, Seaman, slightly wounded.
John Bale-, Quarter-Master, slightly wounded.
John Hawkins, Marine, slightly wounded.

12 Oct 1806 Constance, Strenuous, Sheldrake and cutter Britannia chase the French store-ship Salamandre on shore : she was set on fire and destroyed, but the Constance went aground and was lost to the French.

10 Feb 1812 departed Deal for Leith.

6 Mar 1812 has captured 5 coasters in the Sleeve laden with grain, 3 of which have arrived at Leith.

10 Aug 1812 has detained and sent into Plymouth Sound the French sloop Zephyr.

30 Oct 1812 was on shore yesterday morning between the isle and main, but has since some up the harbour to Plymouth Dock to refit and repair the damages.

27 Nov 1812 arrived Plymouth Sound from the coast of France, with three French vessels, her prizes, which she captured recently near Belle-isle.

1 Dec 1812 departed Plymouth Dock for the French coast.

11 Jan 1813 remains Plymouth.

24 Jan 1813 arrived Falmouth with the Growler a chasse-maree, detained by the Strenuous brig.
