Feb 1797 capture of the Island of Trinidad, along with the San-Damaso, 74, and induced the destruction of 3 Spanish ships of the line and a frigate.

5 Jul 1797 2nd bombardment of Cadiz.

Circa 30 Jun 1800 Lieutenant Thomas Godfrey is appointed to the command of the Terror bomb;

20 Oct 1800 re-captured the Brig Padstow, of Padstow.

11 Mar 1801 salvage money resulting from the re-capture of the Brig Padstow now due for payment.

10 Mar 1801 the North Sea Fleet has come together at N. Yarmouth, and consists of the London, and St George, 98 guns, Adm. Sir Hyde Parker having transferred his flag from the Ardent to the St George ; Monarch, Bellona, Saturn, Ramilies, Ganges, Warrior, Russell and Defence, 74 ; Veteran, Ardent, Polyphemus, Raisonable, Agamemnon, 64 ; Glatton, 54 ; Isis, 50 ; Desiree, Blanche, and Amazon frigates ; Pylades, Hyaena, Dart, and Arrow, sloops ; Harpy ; Biter, Blazer, Bruiser, Tigress, Pelter, Teazer, Hasty, Force, Sparkler Brigs ; Terror, Volcano, Explosion, Hecla, Zebra, Albion, Sulphur, and Discovery bombs ; Eling, schooner ; cutters Fox and Hazard ; and luggers Rover and Lark.

Circa 12 Mar 1801 fleet under Admiral Sir Hyde Parker departed from Yarmouth roads for Copenhagen. 30 Mar the vessels initially detailed to take part in the forthcoming Battle of Copenhagen. 1 Apr the vessels detailed sail for Copenhagen ; the British ships held in reserve ; the Danish positions : 2 Apr the battle commences : the truce : the casualties : the wash-up :

12 Apr 1801 the fleet departed from Copenhagen into the Baltic.

7 May 1801 arrived Sheerness, the Terror, Locust, Basilisk, Mariner, Bloodhound, gun-brigs, from the R. Thames.

18 Jun 1801 a letter of this date, received from Kioge Bay, in the Baltic, reports the presence of the following fleet, this at about the same time as Lord Nelson departed in the Kite for N. Yarmouth, V.-Adm Pole having arrived here in the Aeolus to relieve Nelson : the St George, Elephant, Defiance, Polyphemus, Edgar, Agamemnon, Defence, Adder, Aeolus, Kite, Dart, Zebra, Terror, Explosion, Sulphur, Discovery, Volcano, Hecla, Wrangler, Cracker, Safeguard, Sparkler, Attack, Tigress, Bruiser, Hasty, Biter, Otter, Force, Pleaser, Teazer.

19 Jul 1801 would appear to have arrived N. Yarmouth with the Baltic fleet under the command of Adm Graves, but wasn't included in the listing ; she was, however, included in the list of vessels that departed on the 20th.

20 Jul 1801 The fleet under the command of R.-Adm. Sir Thomas Graves, which arrived yesterday evening from the Baltic, departed N. Yarmouth today, supposed for a cruise off Holland : for the revised make up of the fleet click on Polyphemus.

23 Jul 1801 arrived in the Downs.

25 Jul 1801 has departed the Downs for Sheerness.

23 Aug 1801 arrived Sheerness from the Downs, the Terror bomb, Capt Rowley. [Would appear to have been detained in the interim at the Nore ?]

30 Aug 1801 departed Sheerness, for the Downs.

9 Sep 1801 the Overyssel, Magicienne, Amazon, Leyden, Alkmaar, York, Isis, Shannon, Gannet, Hound, Gier, and Autumn sloops ; Volcano, Vesuvius, Terror, Discovery, Zebra bombs ; Victoire, Nancy & Akers, fire ships ; the Locust, Plumper, Bold, Eclipse, Ferriter, Snipe, Minx, Jackall, and Mallard, gun vessels, apart from seven gun brigs who were about to depart that evening with the Eugenie and Diligence for the Coast of France ; remained in the Downs overnight.

14 Sep 1801 a Court-Martial was held on board HM ship Leyden, at Deal, on the Master of the Terror bomb, for neglect, &c. of duty. The charges being fully proved, he was dismissed the Service.

25 Sep 1801 remains in the Downs, the Overyssel, Leyden, Alkmaar ; sloops Hound, Arrow ; bombs Volcano, Vesuvius, Terror, Zebra, and Hecla ; Snipe, gun vessel ; Nancy, Akers, Victoire, and Ferret, Fire vessels.

18 Oct 1801 arrived in the Downs from Dungeness, a strong westerly gale blowing at the present time.

7 Apr 1802 is ordered to be paid off at Portsmouth.

24 Jul 1802 head money for those present at the Engagement at Copenhagen, on the 2d April 1801, due for payment.

23 Jun 1803 departed the Downs on a cruise.

20 Jul 1803 departed the Downs for the Nore.

24 Jul 1803 arrived in the Downs and remained.

28 Jul 1803 arrived Spithead with men and a convoy from the Downs, the Terror, Capt Hardinge.

30 Jul 1803 departed Spithead with a convoy for the Eastward.

22 Aug 1802 the bomb Terror arrived in the Downs from the Coast of France this morning, where she and the Immortalite had attacked the town of Boulogne last Wednesday night : the Terror placing herself close enough to the town to throw in shells which destroyed much of the Lower Town. In addition a party of Royal Marines and Seamen were landed and set fire to a number of houses, and sufficiently damaged some pile drivers in the harbour to make them useless, before returning to their ships.

29 Aug 1803 arrived in the Downs, the Immortalite, and the Terror, bomb, from a cruise.

3 Sep 1803 departed the Downs for a cruise.

6 Sep 1803 departed Spithead for the Downs.

13-15 Sep 1803 bombardment of Granville, on the French coast.

18 Sep 1803 arrived Spithead from Sir J Saumarez's squadron, off Granville and the Channel Isles.

20 Sep 1803 departed Spithead in company with Sulphur and a convoy for the Downs.

21 Sep 1803 arrived in the Downs the Terror, from Portsmouth.

3 Oct 1803 arrived Sheerness the Sulphur, Terror, Explosion, and Perseus, with their tenders.

6 Oct 1803 is to be taken into dock to be inspected to check her condition having fired so many bombs off Calais there is concern regarding her condition.

25 Nov 1803 came into Sheerness harbour, where her mortars are to be taken out, as she is to be stationed as a block ship at the mouth of the Thames.

May 1805 off Southend ; Guard Ship, Floating Battery.
