26 Jun 1897 Present at the Naval Review at Spithead in celebration of the Diamond Jubilee ; the torpedo-boats present at the review have all been launched since 1885, the longest lived being No. 81, which at the review in 1887 was the largest boat in the service, and which still maintains that position. Her length is 150 ft. and speed 20 knots. She was built by Mr. J. S. White, of East Cowes. At her trials she realized a speed of 20.79 knots.

27 Jun 1900 Portsmouth. Orders received for vessels to be specially commissioned for a naval mobilization to take place on Tuesday, July 10th - see Colossus for details.

Aug 1914 Portsmouth. Tender to Victory. In Active Commission, and for command of the Portland Flotilla.
