1805 Deptford, fitting.
21 Aug 1807 captured the vessel La Grue and Bizarro, when in company with the Weazle and Melpomene.
24 Apr 1817 it was announced that copies of accounts of sale and proceeds' of the La Grue and Bizarro, were to be lodged in the Registry of the High Court of Admiralty, on the 12 May 1817. Unfortunately though, for those entitled to the prize money from that time on things didn't seem to go as smoothly as they shoulda : the estate of the agent responsible for paying the prize money had gone bankrupt and therefore subsequent payments of the prize money were made in instalments, thus, presumably not amounting to the full sum due.
25 March 1822 notice was given that distribution of the dividends received by the Treasurer of this Institution, from the estate of Messrs Lark and Woodhead, in the undermentioned prize cases, will commence on 10 Apr next. Whether any dividends were paid in the interim I know not, but the final dividend of 5�d. in the pound due in this respect, didn't become due to be paid by the Examiner of Prize Accounts until 2 Jul 1850.
2 May 1808 cruising in the Gulf of Venice captured the Italian brig-corvette Ronco.
31 May 1808 off the island of Lusin, captured the Italian brig-corvettes Nettuno and Teuli�. These 2 brigs, as well as the one captured four weeks before, were transferred to the British navy ; the Ronco, of 334 tons, under the name of Tuscan, the Nettuno, of 344 tons, under that of Cretan, and the Teuli�, 333 tons, under that of Roman.
19 May 1810 captured the French privateer Du Guay Trouin in the Mediterranean.
25 Mar 1811 Ajax and Unit� capture the French store ship Dromadaire off Porto-Ferrajo.
30 Apr - 1 May 1811 the frigates Pomone and Unit� and brig-sloop Scout destroyed the French store ships Giraffe and Nourrice, along with a merchant ship, in the bay of Sagone, island of Corsica.
24 June 1811 Reported to be off Toulon.
4 Jul 1811 the frigate Unit�, off Port Hercule on the Roman coast, sent in the ship's boats cut out the armed brig St.-Fran�ois de Paule.
4 Jul 1811 the frigate Unit� and sloop Cephalus, on the Roman coast, sent in the ships' boats cut out a number of merchant-vessels at anchor between Civita-Vecchia and the mouth of the Tiber.
28 Nov 1811 leaving the ship Acorn to assist in the defence of the port, the frigates Alceste, Active, and Unit� departed from Lissa in pursuit of a French frigate squadron, and following a chase captured the Pomone and the Persanne, laden with military stores etc.
18 Jan 1813 Unite, in company with the Edinburgh, captured the vessels Bea and Masshauda.
