Notes:

7 Aug 1807 arrived Copenhagen for the siege and bombardment of Copenhagen 15 Aug - 20 Oct 1807 and capture of Danish Fleet by Adm. Gambier.

21 Feb 1809 Revenge observed R.-adm Willaumez put to sea from Brest with a squadron of 7 ships of the line, and re-joined her squadron under Captain Beresford (Theseus, Triumph and Valiant) at Glenans, watching Lorient, with the information : they were subsequently chased off the Lorient station by the larger French Squadron.

24 Feb 1809 later that day Rear-admiral Stopford's squadron returned to his station off the Chasseron lighthouse, and observed the squadron of M. Willaumez at anchor in Basque roads, and was joined on the 25th by Captain Beresford and his three ships, with his force thus augmented to seven sail of the line and five frigates, resumed the blockade of the port, with the Hero joining shortly afterwards.

7 Mar 1809 Admiral Lord Gambier relieved Rear-admiral Stopford's in command of the blockade of Basque Roads.

17 Mar 1809 anchored in Basque roads. 11 Apr the use of fire ships, explosion-vessels, and Congreve rockets against the French fleet at Basque roads and the results thereof. 12 Apr attempt made to destroy grounded French vessels, following the previous night's attack.

3 Feb 1810 off Belle-Isle, captured the French armed merchant ship Confiance, late French 40-gun frigate Canonni�re.

27-28 Sep 1810 at anchor in Basque roads, the ships' boats of the Caledonia, Valiant and Armide captured two brigs, and destroyed a third, whilst the marines prevented support reaching the beach.

Plymouth 19 Jan 1813 Put into Cawsand Bay, on Saturday night, by contrary winds and stormy weather, and has since departed for Halifax.

31 Mar 1813 in company with the Hogue, when we saw the Nymphe re-capture the brig Eliza, from St. Kitt's, laden with rum.

5 Apr 1813, arrived Halifax the brig Eliza, Rossignol, of Jersey, departed St. Kitts, for London, 3 Mar., was captured by an American privateer the 18th ult., and recaptured by the Valiant, when in company with the Hogue and Nymphe in lat. 40� 51' ; long. 70� 31'.

7 Apr 1813 watering at Block Island with the Ramillies, Hogue, Shannon, Nymphe and Orpheus.

20 Apr 1813, Halifax, arrived the sloop Packet, from Savannah to Boston, prize to the Valiant.

1 Jun 1813 the Valiant and Acasta chase the US ships United-States, Macedonian and Hornet, which had just departed from New York, into New-London.

18 Jun 1813 captured a U.S. privateer, the 20 gun brig Porcupine, with 72 men.

15 Jul 1813, departed Halifax, on a cruise.

28 Jan 1814, at Bermuda.

Falmouth 25 Mar 1814 arrived off here, from Jamaica (28 Jan) : she separated from her convoy in a gale on 1 Mar : has landed a mail and proceeded up Channel.

Jamaica 31 Jan 1814 departed with a convoy for Havannah, Bermuda and England.

Plymouth 28 Mar 1814 arrived from Negril Bay, Jamaica (2 Feb), Havannah (11 Feb).

Portsmouth 26 Aug 1814 Prepares to receive Lord Hill on board, for America.

Portsmouth 31 Aug 1814 Is ordered to sea on foreign service, and will sail as soon as the wind will permit.

Madeira 4 Jan 1815 arrived on the 2nd with a small convoy to the Brazils, and departed today.
