30 May 1798 French 36-gun frigate Confiante destroyed off H�vre.

5 Jul 1800 prize money resulting from the destruction of the Confiante due to be paid.

Circa 12 Mar 1801 fleet under Admiral Sir Hyde Parker and Lord Nelson, consisting of 17 ships of the line, 3 frigates, 10 gun-brigs, nearly as many bomb-ketches, with smaller vessels usually attendant on a fleet, making in the whole nearly 50 sail, got under weigh from Yarmouth Roads at the break of day, and by eight o'clock had cleared the Sands ; they directed their course to the northward, wafted by a fine breeze at S.W. as departed from Yarmouth roads for Copenhagen (Naval Chronicle). On arrival at Copenhagen supported the ships-of-the-line as required.

19 Jun 1801 arrived at Yarmouth from the Baltic, to join Admiral Dickson's squadron, now blockading the Dutch Fleet in the Texel.

c 9 Aug 1801 went out of Portsmouth harbour to Spithead after a refit, Capt Warren.

21 Aug 1801 departed Spithead for the Downs, to join Lord Nelson.

24 Aug 1801 departed the Downs for Portsmouth.

9 Sep 1801 the Overyssel, Magicienne, Amazon, Leyden, Alkmaar, York, Isis, Shannon, Gannet, Hound, Gier, and Autumn sloops ; Volcano, Vesuvius, Terror, Discovery, Zebra bombs ; Victoire, Nancy & Akers, fire ships ; the Locust, Plumper, Bold, Eclipse, Ferriter, Snipe, Minx, Jackall, and Mallard, gun vessels, apart from seven gun brigs who were about to depart that evening with the Eugenie and Diligence for the Coast of France ; remained in the Downs overnight.

25 Sep 1801 remains in the Downs, the Overyssel, Leyden, Alkmaar ; sloops Hound, Arrow ; bombs Volcano, Vesuvius, Terror, Zebra, and Hecla ; Snipe, gun vessel ; Nancy, Akers, Victoire, and Ferret, Fire vessels.

12 Jul 1803 departed N Yarmouth, with the Gelykheid, 68, on a cruise off the Dutch coast.

24 Jul 1803 arrived N Yarmouth Roads the frigates Penelope, Fortun�e, and bombs Hecla and Vesuvius, from off the Elbe, where they had formed a part of a squadron blockading the Elbe. They have also detained a number of foreign ships, all laden, their prizes.

23 Aug 1803 arrived N Yarmouth from a cruise.

25 Aug 1803 departed N Yarmouth, the Hecla, Vesuvius, bombs, and the Bold, gun brig, to cruise off the Coast of Holland.

19 Sep 1803 arrived N Yarmouth Roads from a cruise.

25 Sep 1803 departed N Yarmouth the Zebra, Vesuvius, bombs ; Bold, Constant, Censor and Monkey, gun brigs.

7 Oct 1803 departed the Downs, the Circe, the Hecla, and the Vesuvius, bombs, and the Minx, gun brig, on a cruise off the coast of France.

12 Oct 1803 remain in the Downs the Monarch, Right Hon Adm Lord Keith ; Utrecht, R.-Adm Montague, Capt Rogers ; Diana, Capt Maling ; Ranger, sloop, Capt Coats ; Squirrel ; Autumn, Capt Jackson ; Vesuvius, Capt O'Brien, bomb ; Sulphur, Capt M'Leod ; Archer, Conflict, Monkey, and Sterling, gun brigs ; the latter from a cruise.

Circa 9 Apr 1804 Capt Lillicrap, apptd to the Vesuvius, vice Capt O'Brien.

May 1805 Woolwich, repairing in Commission.

22 Aug 1807 present at the siege and bombardment of Copenhagen 15 Aug - 20 Oct 1807 and capture of Danish Fleet by Adm. Gambier.
