1890 Would appear, at least initially, to have been nominal ship for the RN Barracks, Devonport, which took the name Vivid when it was first occupied in Jun 1889.

1890 The Vivid spent a brief period at Portsmouth under the orders of the Captain of the "Victoria and Albert."
