7 Apr 1798 captured the French privateer Merveilleuse in the North Sea.

1 Jan 1799 Cdr Thomas Campbell ; Master Jeremiah Abbs ; stationed North Sea ; built 1797 (N.C.)

15 Apr 1801 arrived this morning at N. Yarmouth from a cruise off Goree, a squadron from Adm. Dickson's North Sea Fleet, which appears to have changed somewhat since it departed : the Princess of Orange, Leyden, Assistance, Monmouth, Madras, Agincourt, Latona, Waarzaamheid, Shark, Diligence, Drake and Wright armed ship.

3 Aug 1801 departed Leith Roads with a convoy of the trade for Elbe.

10 Sep 1801 departed Leith Roads, the Safeguard, Lt Shields, with trade for the Baltic, and the hired armed ship Wright, Capt Campbell, with the trade for the Elbe.

18 Nov 1801 arrived N. Yarmouth, the Vidette, brig ; Lark, lugger ; Trial, cutter ; Inspector, sloop ; Meteor, gun-brig ; Sally, Hermes, and Wright, armed ships ; from a cruise.

24 Nov 1801 departed Sheerness for Chatham.

30 Nov 1801 departed Sheerness for Newcastle, the Wright, having been discharged from the Service.
