Since 19 Mar 1814, in a paper presented to Parliament dated 4 Feb 1818 the HM Colonial Brig Princess Charlotte, Wm Salter Sanders Esq., has detained the Laura Anna /Laura Ana, Joze Jorge Peoli, master, ID No. 7533, was taken to the Vice-Admiralty Court, Sierra Leone and condemned, Robert Thorpe sitting, but subject to an appeal pending in the High Court of Admiralty.
