We understand the French authorities are in treaty with Messrs. Boyd and Co., for the purchase of the steamer Juno ; should the contract be completed, she will be commissioned for service at Tahiti ; the steamer Phaeton, now there, being an old vessel and requiring repairs, which render it necessary to send her to France.
