Note. The Surgeon is to pay every possible attention to the preservation of the different Packages : those of. Concentrated Vitriolie Acid and the Lemon Juice its well as. the different Owe, &c. are Articles of considerable expence, and must be duly accounted for previous to Certificates being grant to enable theca to receive their Pay; they are to be delivered to the Agents of the Board of Sick and Wounded, in a same manner as the other remains.
The quantity of Wine, over and above the Ship's Allowance received and issued during the period of this Account, is to be duly noted in this Account.
When the remaining Medecines and.articles are delivered to a Successor, he is desired to sign a Receipt for them as under,
Received the [_________] 180 [_] of Mr. [_________] my Predecessor, the remaining Articles mentioned in the abovesaid Account.
This Deponent [_________] Surgeon of His Majesty's [_________] the [_________], voluntarily maketh oath, that the above Account of the Receipt And Expenditure of the different Articles of Medicines, Stores and Necessaries is just and true, and this Deponent further maketh oath, that the Amount of the Bills drawn by him for Surgeon's Necessaries, was faithfull expended for the said service, and that the different Articles purchased, as well as the Supplies received from the Agents of the Commissioners for Sick and Wounded Seamen, were faithfully supplied to the People entitled to the Benefit thereof, and not expended for any other use whatever; and he further maketh Oath that he hath not either directly or indirectly received any Emolument or Profit from any Person concerned in supplying the said Medicines, Stores and Necesaries ; this Deponent also further maketh Oath that the different Articles of Diet supplied to the Sick by the Purser in lieu of their Salt Provisions,.were all good in kind, and administe
