By the Commissioners for Executing the Office of Lord High Admiral of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, &c., &c., &c., &c.

| HIS MAJESTY having been pleased to direct by His Order in Council of this date, that the annexed Table shewing the number of Commission, Warrant and Petty Officers, and the ratings of every description, both Seamen and Marines, allowed to each class of His Majesty's Ships, with their present rate of Pay, shall be added to, and considered as a part of this Book of Regulations and Instructions established for His Naval Service at Sea, and that the whole shall be carried into affect on the 1st January, 1807.- Also, notwithstanding any Orders contained in the said Regulations and Instructions to the contrary, that the Commander in Chief, Flag Officer, or Senior Captain, when Commanding a Squadron of His Majesty's Ships employed on any particular Service, shall be authorized to direct the resident Commissioner at any Foreign Yard to repair the Ships under his Orders, and to supply them with such Stores as the Service on which they are intended to be employed shall absolutely require, a particular Account of which, the Commander in Chief, Flag Officer, or Senior Captain Commanding a Squadron shall, for his justification, be required to transmit by the earliest opportunity that may offer to our Secretary, as well as to the Navy Board ;
You are hereby required and directed to conform yourselves agreeably thereto.
