Article I
ALL Flag Officers and all Commodores having Captains under them, who have Commissions as Commanders in Chief, shall be allowed thirty shillings a day for their table, on whatever station or service they may be employed. Allowances to Flag Officers &c.
Article II
The allowance for Table Money to the Admiral and Commander in Chief of the Fleet is to begin, and to cease with his sea pay; to all others it is to begin from the date of their appointment to command in chief, and continue until they strike their flags in consequence of their being ordered to do so ; or until they are informed by directions from the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty that their appointment as Commander in Chief is at an and. Article III
If a Commander in Chief at any port, or of any Fleet or Squadron, have leave to be absent from his duty, and shall strike his flag and leave the command to another ; the Officer (being a Flag Officer), who shall command during his absence, shall receive the. Table Money until the Commander in Chief return to the Squadron and resume the command. When Commander in Chief shall be absent, the Flag Officer left in Command to be allowed table money.
