Osborne Estate Act
At the Court at Buckingham Palace, the 6th day of October, 1934.
Present, The King's Most Excellent Majesty in Council.
Whereas by the Osborne Estate Act, 1914, it is enacted that His Majesty may, by Order in Council, add to the persons for whose benefit the part of Osborne House mentioned in paragraph (b) of subsection (4) of section one of the Osborne Estate Act, 1902, is to be used, such other classes of persons as, subject to such conditions and restrictions as may be imposed by the Order, He may determine to be qualified on account of their public services to participate in such benefit, and may from time to time by Order in Council revoke or vary any such Order:
And whereas it is expedient to extend the classes of persona eligible to participate in such benefit:
Now, therefore, His Majesty, by and with the advice of His Privy Council, is pleased to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:-
In addition to the persona heretofore eligible to participate in such benefit, the following persons shall be so eligible, that is to say, acting sub-lieutenants, acting sub-lieutenants (E), acting paymaster sub-lieutenants, midshipmen, midshipmen (E), and paymaster midshipmen of the Royal Navy or Royal Indian Marine, and cadets (including paymaster cadets) under training for the Royal Navy, Army, Royal Air Force, Indian Air Force, or Royal Indian Marine, at the Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, the Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, the Royal Military College, Sandhurst, the Royal Air Force College, Cranwell, or elsewhere under the control of the Departments concerned.
