The "Conqueror's" Bridge and Conning Tower

This is another of our 13.5 in. gun battleships, and though a sister ship of the "Monarch" the flying bridge is not extended. It can be clearly seen in this illustration how the conning tower in all these newest ships has increased in size to give more room for the greater number of instruments now carried in them. The armour of these structures is very thick, being no less than 12 in.
