The Bridge of the Latest Type Super "Dreadnought"

The "King George V." and her sisters are the latest type of all-big-gun ships to hoist the flag, and here we find that no longer the idea is followed of building the bridge round the smoke-stack but in this class the bridge is built round the mast, which when the photograph was taken was of the pole type, but since then supports of a new type which consist of a perforated steel outer sheath further supported by two dwarf tripods have been added.
