The Bridge of New Zealand's Gift

The big cruiser, "New Zealand," which has been visiting our southern island colony, has it bridge also kept well away from the funnel, and is slightly wider than the remarkably high superstructure. The charthouse is more pronounced than in later vessels, for though the "New Zealand" is quite a new ship she was rather a long while under construction, and it was said that she was getting out of date before she left the Clyde.
