Circular No. 13.-MM.

Admiralty, 24th March, 1869

Inconvenience having in some instances been caused by the failure of Officers appointed to Foreign Stations in reporting their addresses up to the date of their leaving England, the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty are pleased to direct that when an officer acknowledges his appointment to a ship on a Foreign Station, he shall at the same time state where he proposes to reside up to the date of his leaving England ; and, should any change occur as to his arrangements, he is to report the same.

By command of their Lordships,

To all Commanders-in-Chief.

W. G. Romaine
