Stray Deaths on the Coast of Australia

Here's a couple of Stray Deaths that I have come across that may interest you. Some of them will have been aboard coastal ships and died enroute. All of them dying in or off the Coast of Australia. They were buried where they died so won't be found in any cemeteries with a headstone.

GALLIENNE, Thomas, Male, 33 yrs. Seaman, Died 27 May 1875 at No 1 Island Bunkers Group, Buried at No 1 Island Bunkers Group, of the Coast of Eastern Australia, born Guernsey, Drowned.

GIBSON, Nils, male, aged 63 yrs, Lightkeeper, died 25 February 1896 at Bustard Head, buried at Bustard Head, the East Coast of Australia, born Cimbrithaum, Sweden, cause of death Cirrhosis of Liver.

BURNS, George Robertson, male, aged 45 yrs, Engineer, died 5 November 1893, On board S.S. Airlie of Cape Capricorn, East Coast of Australia, Buried Townsville, born Edinburgh, Scotland, died of Phthisis.

COLLIER, William, male, 23 yrs, Seaman, died 20 April 1869, at Bustard Bay, East Coast of Australia, buried Bustard Bay, born England, Drowned.

JONES, William, male, aged 34 yrs, Engineer, 5 Oct 1879, of Keppel bay, East Coast of Australia, buried Curtis Island, born, Cammeas, Anglesea, North Wales, Disease of the Heart.
