Allowance for Conducting Night Schools on School Ships at Portsmouth and Devonport

Whereas we have had under our consideration the establishment of Night Schools on board the following of Your Majesty's Ships, viz. : -

Gunnery School Ship � at Portsmouth

Torpedo - at Portsmouth

Gunnery - at Devonport.

And whereas we are of opinion that an Allowance of One Shilling a day should be granted to each of the Naval Schoolmasters selected to conduct such Night Schools, we beg leave humbly to recommend that Your Majesty will be graciously pleased by Your Order in Council to Sanction this Allowance :

The Lords Commissioners of Your Majesty's Treasury have signified their concurrence in this proposal.
