Modifications in the Rates of Store Allowances Paid to Warrant Officers.

Admiralty Order in Council No. 14.

16 May 1893.

A.G.

Whereas we have had under our consideration the regulations under which Store Allowance is paid to Warrant Officers' serving in Your Majesty's Vessels and Naval Establishments at Home :

And whereas we are of opinion that certain modifications in the existing rates are desirable, and that Warrant Officers of Your Majesty's Vessels in the Fleet Reserve should receive some Allowance for Charge and responsibility as they now do when such Ships are in Commission, but at a lower rate :

We therefore beg leave humbly to recommend that Your Majesty may be graciously pleased by Your Order in Council to sanction the rates embodied in the subjoined Schedule ; and to approve of this regulation taking effect from 1st April, 1892.

The Lords Commissioners of Your Majesty's Treasury have signified their concurrence in these proposals.
