Whereas we consider that it is advisable that the Naval Cadets under instruction on board Your Majesty's Ship " Britannia," shall be instructed in the Art of Fencing :

We beg leave humbly to recommend that Your Majesty will be graciously pleased by Your Order in Council to sanction the payment of an allowance at the rate of One Shilling a day to the Petty Officer who may be selected to act in the capacity of Fencing Instructor to the Naval Cadets on board that Ship.

The Lords Commissioners of Your Majesty's Treasury have concurred in this proposal
