Appointment of Electrician of H.M.S. "Vernon."

Whereas the appointment of Electrician of Your Majesty's Ship "Vernon" has become vacant by the resignation of Mr. Isaac Tall, who was appointed to this post by Your Majesty's Order in Council, dated the 29th day of November, 1884.
And whereas we are of opinion that the appointment should be continued.
We beg leave most humbly to recommend that Your Majesty will be graciously pleased, by Your Order in Council, to sanction the continuance of such appointment ; the person selected for the appointment being borne on Your Majesty's Ship "Vernon" as Electrician, and being paid a salary of two hundred pounds per annum, rising by annual increment of ten pounds, to two hundred and fifty pounds per annum, in addition to being victualled or receiving the usual allowance in lieu of victualling.
Service as Electrician not to reckon for either Civil or Naval Pension or gratuity.
The Lords Commissioners of Your Majesty's Treasury have signified their concurrence in this proposal which should take effect from the 1st November 1893.
