Whereas Your Majesty was graciously pleased by Your Order in Council of 6th February 1882 to approve the payment of an Allowance of one shilling and sixpence a day to the Chief or Senior Gunner of the Gunnery Ships at Portsmouth and Devonport for the performance of extra duties, and whereas the Gunnery School at Sheerness has been placed on the same footing as the existing establishments at the above-named Ports ;
We beg leave humbly to recommend that Your Majesty will be graciously pleased by Your Order in Council to sanction payment of the said allowance of one shilling and sixpence a day to the Chief or Senior Gunner of the said Gunnery School at Sheerness ; this regulation to take effect from 1st February 1894.
The Lords Commissioners of Your Majesty's Treasury have signified their concurrence in this proposal.
