Tuition Allowances to Naval Instructors on H.M.S. "Britannia."
|
Admiralty Order in Council No. 48.
28 May, 1894.
N.
Whereas we have had under consideration the Tuition Allowances paid to the Naval Instructors for the instruction of Naval Cadets on board Your Majesty's Ship "Britannia," which are at present based on the following scale, viz. : -
Second Naval Instructor - - 200 per annum.
Permanent Junior Naval Instructor 125 per annum.
Non-permanent Junior Naval Instructor- - - 60 per annum.
And whereas we are of opinion that this scale has not worked satisfactorily, we beg leave humbly to recommend that Your Majesty will be graciously pleased by Your Order in Council to sanction the following scale in lieu of that at present in force, viz. : -
Second Naval Instructor - 150 per annum.
All others - - 100 each per annum.
to be applied as from 1st April 1894 to those on the lower scale of 60 a year, and to the others as vacancies arise.
The Lords Commissioners of Your Majesty's Treasury have concurred in this proposal.
