Whereas the Scale of Mess Traps Articles to be allowed to Warrant Officers on board Your Majesty's Ships is laid down in Appendix XXVIII. of the Regulations for the government of Your Majesty's Naval Service.

And whereas we consider it desirable that the supply of Mess Traps to Warrant Officers should be improved.

We beg leave to recommend that Your Majesty will be graciously pleased by Your Order in Council to direct that Appendix XXVIII. above quoted be cancelled, and that Warrant Officers be granted a supply of Mess Traps similar to that granted to Officers, but in accordance with the following Scale : -

The Lords Commissioners of Your Majesty's Treasury have signified their concurrence in this proposal
