Allowance in lieu of Quarters to Artificers, &c., at Sydney
|
Admiralty Order in Council No. 103
12 December, 1896.
A.G.
Whereas we are of opinion that the ordinary allowance of one shilling a day usually granted to Artificers &c., at Sydney, New South Wales, in lieu of quarters, is insufficient, and that it should be increased to one shilling and sixpence a day.
We beg leave to recommend that Your Majesty will be graciously pleased by Your Order in Council to sanction an extension of this allowance to one shilling and sixpence a day on production of vouchers showing such payment.
The Lords Commissioners of Your Majesty's Treasury have concurred in this proposal.
