|
Admiralty Order in Council No. 130.
N.
26 October, 1896.
Whereas Your Majesty's Ship. "Northampton " was commissioned in June 1894 as a seagoing Training Ship with a view to accelerating the training of boys for Your Majesty's Navy ;
And whereas we have considered it expedient to commission Your Majesty's Ship "Curacoa" as a tender to the "Northampton" in order to increase the number of boys trained in a sea-going Training Ship ;
We beg leave to recommend that Your Majesty will be graciously pleased by Your Order in Council to sanction the payment of the allowances set forth in the accompanying Schedule in connection with the Training Service carried out in
Your Majesty's Ship "Curacoa."
The Lords Commissioners of Your Majesty's Treasury have signified their concurrence in this proposal.
