Whereas Your Majesty was graciously pleased, by Your Order in Council of 16 May 1893 and 6 March 1896, to sanction payment of Store Allowances at various rates to Warrant Officers serving in Your Majesty's Vessels and Naval Establishments at home and abroad ;
And whereas we are of opinion that Store Allowances should also be paid in the Vessels and Establishments mentioned in the subjoined Schedule ;
We beg leave to recommend that Your Majesty may be graciously pleased, by Your Order in Council, to sanction payment of the same.
The Lords Commissioners of Your Majesty's Treasury have signified their concurrence in these proposals.

Torpedo Boats employed for instructional purposes at Malta and Bermuda. |
6d. to 1s. a day (according to rank or service). |
The award of the varying rates is to be governed by the scale laid down in Order in Council of 6 March 1896. |
| Gunboat Tender to Torpedo School Ship at Devonport. |
6d. to 1s. a day (according to rank or service) for charge of his own stores, and 3d. a day in addition for each description of stores (not exceeding two) for which he renders separate accounts. |
| Chief Carpenter or Carpenter. |
Boys� Training Ships. |
6d, to 1s, a day (according to rank or service). |
| Chief or other Gunner and Boatswain. |
H.M.S. "Black Prince" - Boys' Training Ship at Queenstown (see note). |
3d. to 6d. a day (according to rank or service) as for a vessel in the Fleet Reserve. |
| Chief or other Gunner, Boatswain, Carpenter. |
Vessels in Reserve abroad. |
3d, to 6d. a day (according to rank or service) when in charge of their own stores, and 3d, a day in addition when in charge of one or more descriptions of stores other than their own. |
* Note, - Store allowance will be payable to the Gunner and Boatswain of H.M.S. "Black Prince" only so long as the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty see fit to maintain an establishment of sea stores on board.
