Store Allowances to Warrant Officers in Ships in the Fleet Reserve

Admiralty Order in Council No. 174.
13 October, 1897.
A.G.
Whereas Your Majesty was graciously pleased, by Your Order in Council of 6th March 1896, to grant to Warrant Officers serving in vessels in the Fleet Reserve at home half the usual rates of Store Allowance payable in seagoing Ships in commission ;
And whereas we are of opinion that in certain cases the half rate is insufficient ;
We would humbly submit to Your Majesty that the full rates of Store Allowance, as laid down in the above Order in Council for Warrant Officers in seagoing Ships in commission, shall be paid from 1st April 1896 to the Warrant Officers in charge of Stores in Your Majesty's Ship " Minotaur " which, although in the Fleet Reserve, is attached as overflow Ship to Your Majesty's Ship "Boscawen," Boys' Training Ship at
Portland ; and to the Warrant Officers of such other Ships (at our discretion) in which stores are expended, and accounts are rendered for them, as for a Ship in commission.
The Lords Commissioners of Your Majesty's Treasury have concurred in this proposal.
