|
Admiralty Order in Council No. 3.
3rd February 1898.
A.G.
Whereas by the Regulations for the government of Your Majesty's Naval Service (Appendix VI, Part 2), an allowance of 6d. a day is granted to a Tailor in each of the Boys' Training Ships for instructing boys to sew.
And whereas we are of opinion that payment of this allowance should be extended to the Tailor on board Your Majesty's Ship "Agincourt," or any other ship used as a Depot Ship for Boys, whose complement includes the rating of Tailor.
We beg leave humbly to recommend that Your Majesty will be graciously pleased, by Your Order in Council, to sanction this proposal; payment of the allowance to commence from 13th February 1897.
The Lords Commissioners of Your Majesty's Treasury have signified their concurrence herein.
N.P, 354 / 1898.
