Assistant-Paymaster attached to Office of Admiral Superintendent at Chatham - Allowance of 2s. 6d. a day
|
Admiralty Order in Council No. 23.
20 October 1898.
A.G.
Whereas we have had under our consideration the payment of an allowance to the Assistant Paymaster attached (for afloat duties) to the office of the Admiral Superintendent at Chatham Yard in consequence of the important duties he performs :
And whereas we are of opinion that this Officer should receive an allowance of two shillings and sixpence a day, in addition to the full pay of his rank :
We most humbly recommend that Your Majesty will be graciously pleased by Your Order in Council to sanction the same, payment to commence from the 1st July 1898.
The Lords Commissioners of Your Majesty's Treasury have concurred in this proposal.
N.P. 2519 / 1898.
