|
Admiralty Order in Council No. 119
17th September 1900.
A.G.
Whereas it is necessary that the Coast Guard Ships of Your Majesty's Navy should be kept fully manned and ready for sea, and whereas we consider that the Captains of these ships with seagoing complements of not less than 400 men should be awarded the same command money as Captains of Seagoing Ships with the same complements, viz. : - 18s. a day instead of 10s. 6d., the rate at present payable in all Coast Guard Ships when stationed at their Ports, in accordance with the Regulations governing Your Majesty's Navy ;
We beg leave humbly to recommend that Your Majesty will be graciously pleased by Your Order in Council, to sanction this increased rate of Command Money as from 1st May 1900.
The Lords Commissioners of Your Majesty's Treasury have signified their concurrence in this proposal.
