Whereas we are desirous of appointing His Royal Highness Prince Christian Frederick Charles George Valdemar Axel of Denmark, G.C.B., G.C.V.O., Lieutenant in the Royal Danish Navy, to be an Honorary Lieutenant in Your Majesty's Fleet.

We would humbly submit that Your Majesty will be pleased to sanction our conferring this Honorary Rank upon His Royal Highness from the seventh day of February 1901.
