Rear-Admiral, Coast of Ireland - Allowance of Table Money when attending Lord Lieutenant's Levees or Drawing Rooms

Admiralty Order in Council No. 158.

15 June 1901.

A.G.

Whereas under the Regulations governing Your Majesty's Naval Service, Commanders-in-Chief and Admirals Superintendent when attending Your Majesty's Levees or Drawing Rooms are considered absent on duty, and are allowed to receive their Table Money, provided the absence does not exceed a week ;

And whereas we are of opinion that the Rear Admiral Commanding on the Coast of Ireland should be allowed similar facilities for attending ceremonials in Dublin ;

We beg humbly to recommend that Your Majesty will be graciously pleased, by Your Order in Council, to sanction the extension of this privilege to the Officer in question when attending the Lord Lieutenant's Levees or Drawing Rooms, the same to take effect from 1st April 1901.

The Lords Commissioners of Your Majesty's Treasury have signified their concurrence in this proposal
