Head Wardmaster Sanctioned for R.N. Hospital, Malta

Admiralty Order in Council No. 218

11 August 1902.

N.

Whereas by Her late Majesty's Order in Council bearing date the third day of March 1900, sanction was given to the establishment of three positions of Warrant Rank for the Sick Berth Staff, one at each of the Royal Naval Hospitals at Haslar, Plymouth, and Chatham.

And whereas we are of opinion that a Head Wardmaster should be added to the Staff of the Royal Naval Hospital at Malta on the completion of the extension now being made to the Hospital.

We therefore beg leave to recommend that Your Majesty may be graciously pleased by Your Order in Council to sanction the establishment of an additional post of Head Wardmaster, under the same Regulations as regards pay, allowances, &c., as those governing the appointments already in existence.

The Lords Commissioners of Your Majesty's Treasury have signified their concurrence in this proposal.

N. 11205 / 1902.
