Allowance of Baggage to Officers in charge of Paymasters’ Accounts when travelling on duty — Scale increased
|
Admiralty Order in Council No. 32.
9th July 1903.
A.G.
Whereas we have had under consideration the allowance of baggage granted, under the scale laid down in Appendix XXIX, to the Regulations for the Government of Your Majesty's Naval Service, to Officers of the Royal Navy in charge of Paymasters' Accounts when travelling on duty :
And whereas we are of opinion that, as these Officers are required to retain duplicates of their accounts until they have been audited and passed in office, the present scale is inadequate :
We beg leave humbly to recommend that Your Majesty may be graciously pleased by Your Order in Council to sanction an addition of one cwt. to the scale allowance of baggage of such Officers.
The Lords Commissioners of Your Majesty's Treasury have signified their concurrence in this proposal.
