Coast Guard District Captains — Grant of Consolidated pay to, within a maximum of £950 per annum in addition to Stationery Allowance and travelling expenses
|
Admiralty Order in Council No. 42
9th October 1903.
N.
Whereas we have considered it desirable to revise the arrangements for the superintendence of the districts of Your Majesty's Coast Guard :
And whereas we are of opinion that, as under the revised arrangement the Captains of Your Majesty's Navy in charge of the districts are required to reside on shore, they should receive a consolidated rate of pay :
We beg leave humbly to recommend that Your Majesty may be graciously pleased by Your Order in Council to authorise us to grant to the Coast Guard District Captains, as from 21st May 1903, consolidated pay at a rate to be fixed by us within a maximum of £950 per annum, in addition to stationery allowance and repayment of travelling expenses.
The Lords Commissioners of Your Majesty's Treasury have signified their concurrence in this proposal.
N. 14451 / 1903.
